Espanyol vs Valencia: prediction for the La Liga match

Both teams are currently at the bottom of the table. Espanyol and Valencia are both in the relegation zone. The Catalan side has earned 14 points after 16 rounds. In their last two La Liga matches, they suffered defeats, and if we consider the last five games, Espanyol has just one win, three losses, and one draw. The team has the second-worst defense in the Spanish league, having conceded 28 goals, with only Valladolid allowing more (34). Valencia also has games in hand – in fact, two matches. The team currently sits last in the La Liga table with 10 points after 15 rounds. Although the Bats recently had a few matches where they picked up points, the situation has worsened again: three consecutive losses have returned Valencia to the bottom of the table. Valencia has the second-worst attack in the Spanish league, scoring just 13 goals. This is one of the key reasons for their low standing.
